A year after acquiring home the gold to the balance beam in the 2008 Olympics, gymnast Shawn Johnson known another major win: she and her companion Mark Ballas were crowned the winners of Dwts.
With the good media attention came the bad -- and the most it absolutely was surrounding her weight.
"That whole process type of broke me down and trained me in something," Johnson told USA Today in the Olympic Media Summitlocated in Dallas Monday. I had been always the best. It is difficult. I had been at the Olympics winning medals and i also still doubted my image. Girls must be taught diverse from that.
