Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to Forbes magazine, rated as one of the worst CEOs of leading public companies in the United States.

Besides Ballmer, CEO of the U.S. there are others who rated poorly by Forbes, the CEO of Cisco, General Electric (GE), Wal-Mart, and Sears.

Forbes Ballmer highlighted the performance of the business opportunities that do not heed the actual mobile devices is growing rapidly and profitably. Microsoft ignores business smartphone and tablet so far behind Apple's IOS and Android from Google.

"After throwing Zune, ignoring tablets, Windows CE, and other mobile products, Microsoft's Ballmer still held for more than a decade. Microsoft is a company PC, no more, when demand began to shift to mobile PCs," said Forbes contributor, Adam Hartung.

According to him, Microsoft requires a CEO who understands the fast pace of technological change and will understand the market trends.

When Ballmer began to lead Microsoft in 2000, the company's stock price software giant has reached 60 dollars per share. Two years later the stock price plunged to 20 dollars per sheet, and by far the most high-stepping only 30 dollars per sheet.

However, there are other positive side since Microsoft dinakhodai Ballmer. Microsoft successfully develop Kinect motion sensor device that can detect motion, and the Xbox game consoles sold in the category to compete with Sony's PlayStation and Nintendo Wii.
