Posted by Unknown on Wednesday, May 16, 2012
Although always competitive, Apple has long used Google maps and technology in mapping and navigation software product.
However, the "intimacy" is likely to end soon. Because Apple is rumored to be "wasting" Google Maps of Apple's latest mobile operating system, IOS-6.
Technology site PC World reports that Apple is likely to use a homemade map.
The technology, which was temporarily called the "Maps" is said to have an interface similar to Google Maps application on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
In addition, Apple's new map will be equipped with a 3D display technology from C3 Technologies Apple acquired last year.
Prior to joining Apple, C3 Technologies is under the defense and security companies from Sweden, Saab AB.
The company is using a method previously undisclosed missile tracking to create 3D models that look realistic and accurate, ranging from tall buildings to the flyover bridge which lies across the road.
IOS operating system 6th annual event is likely to launch Apple's World Wide Developers Conference will be held in mid-June.
